By registering an account on Turpoeng you accept these terms.
The service
Turpoeng is a service for checking in at hiking posts, tracking outdoor activity, and participating in hiking clubs. We aim for stability but provide no availability guarantee.
Account responsibility
You're responsible for keeping your password secret and for all activity on your account. Report suspicious activity to post@turpoeng.no.
Rule violations
Fake GPS check-ins, anti-cheat abuse, or other cheating attempts may lead to suspension or account deletion. Such events are logged by our anti-cheat system.
Pro membership
- 149 NOK/year, renews automatically at period end.
- Cancel anytime from the profile page. Pro continues until period end, then drops to Free.
- No refunds for started periods.
- Technical failures preventing use: contact support — handled manually.
User content
You retain ownership of your check-ins and club data. We use it only to deliver the service. Public clubs you create will display the name and center point on the discovery map after system admin approval.
Intellectual property
The Turpoeng trademark, design, and source code are protected. You get a personal, non-exclusive right to use the service — no other rights.
Changes to the service
We may modify or discontinue features. Material changes will be announced via email.
Liability
Service provided "as is". Turpoeng is not liable for damages arising from use of the app, including hiking accidents. Use your judgment and proper gear outdoors.
Governing law
Turpoeng complies with Norwegian law. If something's wrong, reach out to us first — most things get sorted with an email.
